WELCOME TO DR.G.P.COLLEGE OF EDUCATION RESEARCH CENTRE, Chhatarpur. About College This College is situated on the National Highway of Sagar- Kanpur in Chhatarpur. This institute is around 50 Kms away from the internationally famous "Khajuraho" which is known all over the world for its 9th and 10th century Chandel era Temples. Chhatarpur is situated in Madhya Pradesh in the area known as Bundelkhand. Chhatarpur was founded by renowned ruler of Bundelkhand Maharaja Chhatrasal centuries ago. Politically, it comes under the 49 legislative assembly and 06 Khajuraho parliamentary constituency. The college is affiliated to the renowned Dr. Hari Singh Gaur University, Sagar (M.P.), 165 Km. away from Chhatarpur. Chhatarpur is connected with train route through Harpalpur Station which is 58 Km. away from Chhatarpur. BRIEF HISTORY The present Dr Gyan Prakash College of Educational Research Centre, Chhatarpur (M.P) was founded in 2005-06 as a private college by sincere efforts of the honourable members of Leelawati Welfare Society . The purpose of the institution is providing higher education through degree courses and training programmes to students within and outside Madhya Pradesh. It is a co-educational college. Presently, the College is conducting the following training courses : 1. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) - One year training programme. The NCTE code no. for B.Ed training course is 223315 2. Diploma in Education (D.Ed) - Two year training programme. The NCTE code no. for D.Ed training course is 222075
